Mood pairing: Fancy enough for a dinner party, easy enough for a Tuesday.
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets
1 tbsp coriander seeds, cracked (not fully ground — texture is the point)
½ tsp cumin
Salt + pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
Yogurt:
½ cup Greek yogurt
Zest + juice of ½ lemon
Handful chopped herbs (cilantro or parsley)
Salt
Directions
Press the cracked coriander onto the salmon like you're giving it a spice tattoo.
Sear skin-side down in olive oil, 4–5 minutes, flip, finish 2–3 more.
Dollop with citrus-herb yogurt.
Suddenly you're a person who "just whips things up."
